Events and exhibition news

The Seed Room exhibition, Parham House and Gardens

As a member of the Association of Sussex Artists I will be exhibiting some of my work alongside my fellow artists from Wednesday 22nd April 2026 for a 19-day exhibition (ending on Sunday 10 May), offering a wonderful opportunity to experience the diverse talents within the local artistic community.

The exhibition will showcase a wide range of creative work, highlighting the skill, imagination and individuality of Sussex-based artists. Visitors can expect an inspiring display of paintings, drawings, sculpture and more, reflecting the rich artistic culture of the region.

This year, the programme will once again include live demonstrations, presented as engaging “Meet the Artist” sessions. Held on selected days, each session will spotlight a single artist, offering visitors insight into their creative process, inspiration and techniques.

New for this year are informal “Have a Go” sessions, designed to encourage visitors to explore their own creativity. These relaxed, hands-on opportunities will allow participants to experiment with painting, drawing, sculpture and possibly printmaking. Rather than formal tuition, these sessions aim to provide a welcoming introduction to different artistic media and techniques — perfect for beginners and curious creatives alike.

Whether you are an avid collector, practising artist, or simply someone who appreciates the arts, the exhibition promises to be an inspiring and enjoyable event for all.

Opening hours are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and the Bank Holiday Monday, from 12 noon - 5pm
